Get Started With The Dip Dyeing!

Things You Will Need:

  • Aluminum foil or Plastic bag

  • Bleaching kit or Highlighting kit

  • Fine-Tipped Brush

  • Shower or Sink

  • Conditioner and Shampoo

 

Instructions:

The easiest way to get started is to follow the instructions, and then follow the coloring instructions. Even though these steps are very easy to follow, but a few pointers can certainly be helpful. 4. Every couple of minutes, make sure you check the color of your hair carefully.

If you want to get a gradual effect, it is important that you do not bleach your hair too much.

5. As soon as the mentioned time is up, remove the aluminum foil or plastic bag and then wash your hair.

In case you intend to dip dye hair that is dark to a lighter shade, you may have to bleach a second time, depending what is recommended in the kit’s instructions.

6. Make sure you follow the coloring kit instructions.

If you wish to have a color that is different from the usual blonde to brown gradient, such as blue or red, wear new gloves and then apply the desired color to your hair.

7. Finally, you can style your hair as you wish and enjoy your dip dyed hair!

 

Aftercare

If you want to dip dye your hair at home, here are a few aftercare tips that will be helpful. Buy a special formulated conditioner and shampoo to wash your hair after you have dyed them, to add some life to them. If you want to prevent the bleach from damaging your hair, this will moisturise and strength your hair.
